Tips For Burning Candles
- Candles that are in Containers need to melt all the way across the top each time they are brned before being put out. For best results burn three hours at a time.
- Pillar Candles should be allowed to burn to within 1/4 inch of the edge from the first time it is used. This takes approximately one hour per inch. When burning candles for a long periods, blow out the candle when it reaches withen 1/4 inch of the edge allow wax to harden(This takes only minutes), then relight.
- Do not burn candles in open draft areas, such as open windows, in front of fans, or under ceiling fans.
- Wicks need to be kep centered and trimmed to 1/8 - 1/4 in length on all candles, even durning burning to prevent blackening or smoking.
- Place candles on a heat resistant surface away from anything that may catch fire.
- Keep both lighted and unlit candles out fo reach of small children and pets.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
